Digital strategy for a business remain the same for years?

A digital strategy serves as a path for all the campaigns you’ll launch, assuring your business will be profitable online. It involves the specific business goals you want to achieve, the timeline for analysis and results, your available resources, KPIs, and marketing channels. The strategy also details the essential messages to be used, the audience segments to be focused on, and the mix of channels and plan to reach them.
Can a business with the same digital strategy getting the business, leads, or new customers. The answer is NO, it is not a good idea because over the years the content type is change, lots of trending ways of marketing changed digitally. If you are sticking around the same old strategy on digital platforms then you can’t get new customers. The business you getting from the old customers.
Let me give you an example, we worked for the customers for more than 4 years and it is one of our largest customers and they are in B2B area. They are the largest supplier of certain products in India. The strategy for the customer was modified by me and my team over the years. We are very successful over the year form getting engagement on every platform. We kept on modify that strategy year by year and making it better. But the core remains the same because there is a certain level of we could develop and kind of language we could use for that business on digital platforms.
Over the year passing, we changed the digital strategy. There is a different level of strategy. There is a different strategy for export because lots of customers are ordering from China and other countries, where rates are very competitive. Digital strategy should change but not the whole strategy change. You changed the planning of the content, change in demographics and geography. The way of showing your content should change. Make your content device based because most people show your content from the mobile. More than 70% of people watching your content from mobile devices. If you are not making content mobile-friendly then you are losing lots of business. Your website health should be good and it should be mobile-friendly then digitally you are strong.
